Premier Surgery Center Renovation and Addition

Premier Surgery Center, an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) in Brunswick, Georgia, is a modern healthcare facility focused on providing same-day surgical care. Garbutt Construction Company worked alongside GMC Architecture to enhance the capabilities of this growing practice with renovated operating rooms, updated recovery areas, and an addition housing a new operating room, surgical prep space, and storage. This multiphase project required intense planning and coordination from all parties since it was completed while the facility was occupied and functional. The construction was scheduled to ensure no surgeries were disrupted. Twenty-one physicians, with expertise in a variety of fields, utilize this surgery center. This project has allowed them to better serve their patients.

This project was a challenge requiring extensive coordination and phase planning as the building was to remain occupied and functioning during construction. We asked for an unconventional goal of working around functioning operating rooms and you delivered. The project team’s tireless efforts and willingness to make this happen did not go unnoticed.
