Midways Hills Academy Renovation

The students and staff of Midway Hills Academy and Primary School were welcomed back this school year to like-new facilities. Midway Hills Academy and Midway Hills Primary School, both part of the Baldwin County School District, underwent full renovations concurrently during Summer 2021. Garbutt Construction Company worked diligently over the summer break to ensure that construction was complete, and classes could resume as planned. A major component of this project included a new HVAC system throughout the school. Work on the exterior of the building included new gutters and downspouts as well as new landscaping. Drainage issues were also addressed. A new ceiling grid and ceiling tiles span the building along with new lights and plumbing fixtures. Hints of the school colors can be found throughout the primary school in the carefully selected wall and flooring colors. Quartz flooring was used in the restrooms and cafeteria, carpet in the administrative areas, and VCT in all other locations. The renovations brought new life to the buildings. Baldwin County School District takes great pride in their students, staff, and facilities. Midway Hills Academy and Primary School are once again vibrant and inviting learning environments that students will enjoy for many years to come.
