Industrial and Technology Building

Southern Crescent Technical College

The Industrial and Technology Building, Building B, is the second building on the rapidly growing Southern Crescent Technical College Henry County Campus. It was constructed to provide “more space, more programs, and more opportunities” for students seeking training in the medical, computer information technology, automotive and collision repair fields. Building B is designed and equipped to promote hands-on learning in every aspect. Sharing a passion for workforce development, Garbutt Construction Company was happy to complete this project alongside Praxis3 design team, Georgia State Finance & Investment Commission, The Technical College System of Georgia, and its valued subcontractors.

Building B is an impressive 83,000 sf, multi-level facility featuring an open concept plan that displays a modern design. Building B is also equipped with state-of-the-art technology that both students and faculty will have access too. Students are welcomed into a stylish two-story, open atrium lobby with a tray ceiling. A monumental staircase with glass handrails leads to the second story adding an industrial feel to the space.
