Construction of a new building on the Henry County Campus of Southern Crescent Technical College, one of Georgia’s largest technical institutions, is underway with Garbutt Construction Company serving as the project manager. This 83,000 square foot facility will house industrial and technology programs for Henry County and the surrounding South Atlanta region. The development of the Industrial and Technology Building is part of the growth plan for the Henry County Campus. Instructional space as well as hands-on lab space for general education, medical training, and automotive training will serve the needs of the increasing student population and the surrounding communities. With technical education options expanding due to the new addition, students will now have the opportunity to complete their education at the Henry County Campus of Southern Crescent Technical College.
Garbutt Construction Company, known throughout the state for their education construction expertise, is scheduled to complete construction in Summer 2018.
